| The original parent company of the CASAMAR group of companies was CASAMAR S. A. Panama established in 1958 to assemble and repair nets and provide fishing gear and supplies to the various domestic and foreign tuna vessels that transit the Panama Canal and operating in the Eastern Pacific tuna fishing waters. Today there are at least four (4) CASAMAR companies operating in Panama servicing the requirements of the tuna fleets. |
