| CASAMAR GUAM INC. is a 5acre ship repair, net assembly and repair facility within the Port of Guam at Apra Harbor. It has a 650ft long private dock with a 26ft draft right next to the commercial port. There are drydocking capabilities. A 250ton crane is always available on the pier apron; however, there are also 2 120ton floating cranes available if needed. There are 5 net lanes with space for 50fathom pulls available for the repair and assembly of tuna nets. Experienced welders, machinists, net technicians, and hydraulic technicians are available 7 days a week, 365 days a year. |
| CASAMAR GUAM INC. has the most modern fish unloading facilities for tuna purse seiners in the Pacific. Tuna from the vessels are unloaded on the hoppers and transferred by conveyor belts to refrigerated containers. To date, it is the most efficient and modern dockside system. In the year 2000, the CASAMAR FAD Co. was established in Guam to create a fullservice FAD facility not only for Guam but for the neighboring Marianas and Micronesian Islands benefiting the local sports fishermen and subsistence fishermen of the islands. | The first FAD center in the Pacific specializing in the assembly, repair, anchoring, and maintenance of FADS. Complete line of hardware and spare materials for the general maintenance of the FADs. Readytodeploy FADs are also available. |
| The CASAMAR FAD CO. anchored a number of FADs around GUAM for the general public supporting both the sportsfishing industry and local "subsistence" fishermen. The local sportsfishermen have successfully caught Yellowfm, Skipjack, MahiMahi, Yellowtail, ... around the CASAMAR FADs. |
